Hi, I’m Jenny Zhang. I’m writing a very long novel, and also blahblahbla. Last year, I wrote 400 poems and 44 of them will be published by Octopus Books in Fall 2011. Yiyun Li picked my story for 2nd place in the Zoetrope All-Story Fiction contest, and that was the first time the internet has ever seen my middle name. I studied fiction at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop & Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity at Stanford University. I currently live in New York and write for Rookie magazine. Last year, I lived in France now because I felt like achieving at least one of my teenage dreams. But guess what? Dreams are best experienced in reverie rather than reality.
